At the table:
Put the travel router near the mixer
Attach one battery pack to power:
The travel router (USB)
The PodTrak P4 (USB)
Mount the wireless receivers so the antennas are visible and not blocked
Turn on all wireless transmitters and receivers.
Pair each transmitter with its receiver (if not pre-paired).
Clip or wear each lav mic on your participants.
Connect each wireless receiver to the PodTrak P4 inputs:
Receiver audio OUT β PodTrak input
Use a 3.5 mm β XLR or 3.5 mm β ΒΌβ³ cable
Arrange inputs on the PodTrak so channels correspond to mic positions.
Turn on the PodTrak P4.
Set appropriate gain levels for each mic (start conservative).
On the P4:
Disable any heavy effects (to keep latency minimal).
Confirm clean mix sound on headphone output.
Turn on the travel router.
Connect your iPhone to the routerβs Wi-Fi network.
Have each listener also connect their iPhones to the same network.
You now have a local network visible to all listener phones.
Plug the USB-C to USB-C cable from the PodTrak P4 to your iPhone.
Open the custom iOS listening app (or a compatible pro streaming app if available).
Set the appβs input to the PodTrakβs USB audio source.
Confirm audio streaming begins (monitor on your phone first).
Each listener opens the listening app on their iPhone.
Connect to the stream (on the local router network).
Plug in their earbuds or use AirPods.
Every listener now hears the live table audio with low latency.
Talk into each mic and ensure levels are audible.
Confirm each listener can hear clearly.
Adjust individual levels on the PodTrak if necessary.
